Kansas City’s American Dischord have announced the Path of East Resistance tour — their second east coast tour in the less than 12 months. The latest tour schedule spans more than 25 days and 19 states and brings the band down the east coast. American Dischord will be previewing new material en route to Atlanta, GA to begin production with Joe King, of The Queers for their forthcoming album.

“We are really excited to be heading east again,” says American Dischord’s Tyler Temple. “We’re going to be playing a bunch of new material this go-round, which is always exciting for us.”

Dalton Elliott adds “It’s also going to be a blast seeing all our friends from Detroit, New York City, and Boston again. We know so many awesome people out there, but we didn’t get to visit very much last time. Its going to make for a really fun tour.”

American Dischord will take a short break from the road in mid-June to begin production on a new album with producer, musician, and punk rock legend, Joe King of The Queers at his private studio. This is the first time the band has worked with Joe, but “Its fair to say we’re excited to have someone like Joe help us make these new songs shine” says Temple.

Tickets will be available through local box offices starting June 20th. You can find more information for ordering tickets on the American Dischord’s website.
